There are various ways to prune trees depending on the immediate need or desired outcome.
Crown Cleaning
When crown cleaning trees, the dead, diseased and dying from specified diameter and larger (1”, 2”, etc.) will be removed. Crown cleaning is appropriate for trees with dead and hazardous limbs, or to clean up the tree aesthetically.
Crown Raising
When crown raising trees, lower drooping limbs will be removed to allow access and create space beneath the tree. This is an option when trees are too close to the ground or for clearance from structures and other plants.
Crown Thinning
When crown thinning trees, it allows air movement through the tree and provides spacing between main structural limbs. This is also done to relieve weight when trees are too heavy.
Crown Reduction
When crown reducing trees, excessive growth and lateral limbs are cut back. Also this can be done to reduce the size of trees.
Vista Pruning
When vista pruning trees, we will trim trees to open up vistas and clear views.
Hazard Pruning
Hazard pruning removes large hazardous limbs that can threaten structures or pedestrians.
